Our very knowledgeable tour guides will take you on a terrific in depth tour of a prehistoric American Indian culture. They'll show you ruins of an almost 8 hundred year old civilization. Housing approximately 7 thousand people, the Verde Valley was at the height of this time period. It's here that you'll find Arizona's most well preserved cliff dwelling. Rising five stories, this cliff dwelling is a spectacle to behold. Also seen here are pueblo ruins and other settlement sites. Next your guide will take you to the Tuzigoot National Monument, Montezuma Well, Montezuma Castle National Monument, and other hill top ruin sites that are relevant to the prominence of the Verde Valley.
Let our guides give you the special experience of being soothed by the sounds of a prehistoric irrigation canal. The rooftops of the pueblo ruins offer a panoramic view of a scenic landscape that has been significant to civilizations for at least 10 thousand years.
