Astronomy Overnight Camping Excursion

Departs from: most hotels in Sedona
On the Astronomy Overnight Camping Excursion you and your group will treated to a wonderful evening of star and planet gazing as well as tremendous service from our tour guides. You'll depart from your Sedona accommodations around 4:00pm. Then you'll spend a comfortable night camping at our high elevation, dark sky location. There you'll be provided with dinner while you watch the sunset. After you eat and get settled you'll be privileged to observe the wonderful Arizona night sky with the help and direction of our experienced tour guides.
Throughout the night we will be observing many things in the sky. Most notable though, will be the planets, the distant galaxies, the star clusters, constellations, and other amazing celestial objects. Our guides will teach you of the ancient folklore regarding the constellations, as well as how astronomers determine the composition of stars when they are millions of light years away. You won't want this night to end, as there is just so much in the night sky to marvel at. When the night does come to an end you'll be off to bed for a peaceful night's rest. Next you'll wake up to a delicious hot breakfast in the morning. Once fed, you'll begin your journey back home to Sedona arriving there around noon. This is an incredible tour that will treat you and your group to some of the most beautiful sites that you'll ever see.
