Grand Canyon Sunset Tour

Duration: 11 hours
Departs from: most hotels in Sedona & Flagstaff

Come see the Grand Canyon during the most beautiful time of the day. The breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon sunset are one of the greatest sights one can behold!

Description

The Tour starts off with a scenic ride from the Red Rocks of Sedona, through Oak Creek Canyon and the Ponderosa Pines of Flagstaff. This is considered one of the top 10 scenic drives in America. We will then drive past the dormant volcanoes that make up the San Francisco Peaks, on our way to the Navajo Reservation.

We'll make a stop at the Historic Cameron Trading Post, It was originally built in 1916 and is one of the best places to shop for authentic Native American souvenirs. You'll also see The Gallery which has many breathtaking pieces of fine and historic Native American Arts and Crafts. This is also a great place to take a rest and grab some lunch.

When you enter the Grand Canyon National Park, you'll get your first views of the Grand Canyon and Colorado River at Desert View. Climb up to the top of the the Watchtower Observatory and see the stunning views.

As we go along the rim of the Grand Canyon we will enter the Grand Canyon Village on the South Rim. While there you'll have a wonderful meal at the Canyon Star Restaurant and Saloon and The Grand Hotel. After dinner, take an easy, 1/2-mile walk along the South Rim where you can take in the inspiring views of the Grand Canyon as you gaze 14 miles across to the North Rim. There will be plenty of photo opportunities. A tour you will not want to forget.
