Half Day Colorado River Rafting Tour
Duration: 5 hours
Departs from: our headquarters in Page, Arizona
Seasonal: March 1 through November 30
If you are looking for breathtaking scenery with a hint of adventure this spectacular Colorado River Rafting tour is one not to pass up. This tour provides half-day smooth water float trips that are ideal for the entire family (kids aged 4 and up) from March 1 through November 30 of each year. Your adventure begins in the wonderful city of Page, Arizona where you will depart with a exclusive ride down the two-mile long Glen Canyon Dam access tunnel. Once there, you will board a comfortable motorized pontoon raft at river level, with the dam soaring 583 feet above you, starting your journey downstream. Here you will experience fifteen miles of one of the most spectacular stretches of river in the western United States.
The magnificent scenery that you will encounter is narrated by an experienced tour guide, leaving no question unanswered, and no story untold. Whether the soaring sandstone cliffs, crystal blue-green waters, and abundant wildlife are grabbing your interests, or curious about the river's modern role in water and power delivery, this tour will have you covered. When the tour stops for a break, you will be engulfed in Native American history with ancient petroglyphs, and cave dwellings. To cool down, the crystal clear water of the river will offer refreshment.
Known as the gateway to the Grand Canyon, the historic Lees Ferry is the last stop of the river portion of the trip. Here you will board your vehicle for the short and pleasant ride back to Page, where your vehicle or other transportation awaits your arrival.
