Steep and Rugged - Grand Canyon Extreme

Duration: 10 - 12 hours
Departs from: hotels in the Flagstaff/Williams/Tusayan - Grand Canyon areas

Each day the Grand Canyon National Park will play host to over 5,000 vehicles full of anxious and eager excursionists. Sadly over 90% of these folks will end up frustrated, confused, and eventually lost. The problem? They have no idea where they are going! Instead of spending all morning in long lines and crowed parking lots, join us! We'll make your Grand Canyon hiking experience pleasurable, fun, and incredibly easy.

Description

We'll pick you up at your hotel and give you a first class ride all through the Canyon. Enjoy the comfort of riding in a reclining captain chair with large windows for excellent views! Spend all of your time looking at the beautiful scenery and wildlife! Don't concern yourself with watching the road or following a map, we know the canyon inside and out. Our experts will show you the canyon in a better light than you can find. These naturalists truly know all that this canyon has to offer, and you won't want to miss what they can show and teach you.

This hike is not for the faint hearted. An ancient trail used by natives and horse thieves, this excursion is steep, rugged, and difficult to navigate. Master this trail, and your reward will be unsurpassed. The views you get at the end of this hike are found nowhere else in this world. The view of the Colorado River, the canyon, and the painted desert is unlike anything you've ever seen before. You'll have the choice of ascending to a Grand Canyon Butte. Why do that you ask? Simply for a spectacular 360 degree view of the most special part of the Grand Canyon. Seeing the world's most famous natural wonder like that is an unforgettable experience.

Hikes are restricted to group sizes of no more than seven people. (Although, larger groups can be arranged on a custom basis.) We will pick you up in a comfortable and spacious Suburban or Van. Our vehicles are arguably the most comfortable way to travel on the ground. To our knowledge, we are the only company that provides transportation to and from the trailhead. This insures that you spend your time in the canyon, not trying to find your way to it.

Food

You will love our healthy gourmet picnic lunch, and save money! Grand Canyon is famous for the high prices of it's low quality food. Canyon residents boast that they have the second most expensive McDonald's in the country.
