Built for the military on the popular Blazer platform from GM , the M1009 features a 6.2L Diesel engine with upgrades like a heavy duty suspenion and rear gov-lock to make it comfortable and handle well off-road. This unique experience takes you to either the Four Peaks Trail or the ''Rocks and Ruins Trail''.
Whats an M1009? -
A 4X4 utility version of the General Motors Chevy K5 Blazer 2nd edition with several military modifications: The M1009 is a utility rig built from a blazer and could be used for command and control, as well as simple hack-around duties. All the M1009's were powered by GM's 6.2L J-series Detroit Diesel V8 engine. For comfort, it used the heaviest duty GM springs available and the rear axle was a 10-bolt unit. For increased off-road ability the vehicle is equipped with a military rear Gov-lock system. Fording (water) depth: 20 inches. Approach/Angle: 42 degrees.

Morning 8:00 AM and Afternoon 2:00 PM departures (additional times may be added). We provide pickup from the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. We will pickup in other locations on the way to the four peaks area; that is where the Hummer tours will start.
